2. One completed VIETNAM VISA APPLICATION FORM  with one passport-size photo affixed on the Form. Please fill the form eligibly and accurately to avoid misinterpretation and to facilitate the visa processing. You will be responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide in the Application Form;

3. If you require your passport(s) to be returned by post, please send in a return self-addressed prepaid ENVELOPE (Express post or Registered mail is recommended)

4. VIETNAM VISA FEES must be paid in cash, money order or bank cheque payable to “the Embassy of Vietnam. Vietnam visa cost is various and depensd on the length of stay and visa types, please contact the Embassy for further information from 

5. When you get the visa for Vietnam back, please remember to check all the details on the visa (passport number, date of entry, date of exit, single or multiple entry) before you travel.

• Your name on passport: your name appears on your  passport must be full name
• Your date of birth: the date format in Vietnam is DD/MM/YYYY (date/month/year)

• Receive the Vietnam visa approval letter after 2 working days (normal processing) or 1 working day (urgent processing) via email & print it out
• Bring the approval letter + passport + 2 photos to the arrival airport to get your visa stamped.

Vietnam Work Visa

There are 2 options for you to apply for Vietnam work visa or Vietnam bussiness visa: Apply Embassy visa at Vietnam Embassy/Consulate or Apply Vietnam visa on arrival online.

Option 1: If business travellers apply bussiness visa for Vietnam at Embassy (namely Vietnam Embassy visa), you have to submit a sponsorship letter by a licensed Vietnamese company. This letter can come from your trade partner or your employer. You may note the following steps to get Vietnam work visa:

Step 1: Contact with your Vietnamese sponsor(s)/Business partner(s) and request them to arrange the Vietnam visa authorisation for the applicant from the Vietnam Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security. To this end, the applicant should give their Vietnamese sponsor(s)/Business partner(s) of the following information:

- Full name
- Date and place of birth
- Nationality (previous and present)
- Passport number and type, dates of issue and expiry of the passport
- Proposed dates of entry into and exit from Vietnam
- Type of visa requires (single/double/multiple)
- The Vietnamese mission from where the applicant would collect the visa.
Step 2: Collect the confirmation from the Vietnamese sponsor(s)/Business partner(s) about the Vietnam visa authorisation.
Step 3: Complete the Vietnam visa application form of each Embassy form with dully-pasted passport-size photo.
Step 4: Send the finished Vietnam visa application form to the Embassy with the following documents:
- A valid and original passport
- A self-addressed prepaid envelope
Step 5: Make a payment for the Vietnam visa fees
Vietnam visa cost at Embassy ranges of US$55 – 85/application. This fee depends on The Embassy and Type of visa required.
It normally takes five or seven working days to process a visa from the date of receipt of the completed Vietnam visa application form with required documents and  the visa authorisation from the Vietnam Immigration Dept  (Ministry of Public Security). 

Option 2: If business travellers apply Vietnam visa on arrival or Vietnam visa online, this sponsorship letter is not required and all Vietnam work visas will be processed as normal.
